Personal Information Collection Statement
(1) The personal data collected from the nomination exercise will be used by Hong Kong Shue Yan University, the Secretariat or other staff of the Education Bureau (EDB) and the Members of the Committee on Self-financing Post-secondary Education (CSPE) and its Sub-committee on Support Measures to process the nomination under the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) and for any other related purposes, such as (i) publication and ceremonies related the SPSS; and (ii) serving as part of the official records.
(2) The provision of personal data by the applicant is voluntary. However, failure to provide the requested information will affect the processing of scholarship and award nominations under the SPSS.
(3) The University, the Secretariat or other staff of the EDB and the Members of the CSPE and its Sub-committee on Support Measures have the right to make use of or disclose information provided in the nomination (as well as related information) as necessary for processing nomination and other related purposes.
